We are so excited!!!

Chase has been completely dry for over a week now, 9 days to be exact. I was a little worried leaving the house the first few times, but it's been fine. I knew he had it figured out when he stopped and came and told me he had to go in the middle of watching Sponge Bob (his favorite show). Each time he goes he gets to pick a sticker for his chart and gets a few m&m's. He has even earned a few trips to the dollar store and picked out some fun little prizes.
He's slept in his underwear for the past 6 nights and has woken up dry each time. He still doesn't want to go #2 on the toilet and he doesn't want to go in a diaper either, he thinks he can just hold it and not go anywhere. Each time he's had to go this past week he's held it and then finally picked a diaper to go in. I feel so bad for him! If you have any advice to help with that I would LOVE to hear it!
We are so proud of him and happy that he's doing so great.

That's awesome! Good luck with #2. Landon was the same way and I finally forced him to sit on the potty when I knew he had to go until he couldn't hold it anymore. Then he decided it wasn't so bad and would do it after that. It wasn't fun but it's what worked for us.

Hey Emily,
I just found your blog. Your little family is so cute! Potting training is hard, but don't worry it won't go on forever and before you know it you'll be on to the next milestone.

yay, what a great thing to hear! We are working on the same thing right now with Violet :) The only thing I can think of is to not let him have the diaper even when he wants it. Maybe get him to help you throw out all his old diapers and tell him you won't buy any more ? Good luck!

YEAH!!! Cash is basically training himself and he didn't want to poop on the toilet for awhile.. I wish I had some advice, but we just make it a huge deal when he does start to go. I know it's gross, but sometimes we prentend to push with him and it makes him laugh.
